Heading east about 45 minutes from Portland you'll find one of the finest hotels around.
Nestled in heart of the Columbia River the views from the rooms as well as restaurant is immediately calming and inviting.
Sunday the offers the Champagne Brunch that is really killer for the price.
I usually head up to Carson Hot Springs first and hit this brunch on the way home to Portland.
Despite the upscale food (salmon, crab, shrimp, spinach and crab dip) you can show up in sweats and no one bats an eyelash. I even showed up without any make up and no one made one comment!
Lovely place to eat as well. A bit on the more spendy side, but if you have it, and want to spend it, here is a nice place that won't disappoint.
