Last week, my world almost stopped spinning when my neighbor - my direct neighbor - had a fire in his apartment. Nobody knew how it happened, but my apartment became basically unlivable pretty much overnight. All of my stuff was ruined, too, which is besides the point, but I will say this: People, GET RENTER'S INSURANCE. \r \r Anyway, after running into about a million of their ads on craigslist, I buckled down and decided to work with Rapid. I was trying to find a place without a broker, but it was just taking too long. I am happy to report that I got a new apartment in 2 days. I won't have to couch-surf anymore, due to the dilligence of this company. Marta called me probably 30 times the day after I put my application in, keeping me updated and telling me what I would need to do next. She was extremely helpful, and understood how dire my circumstances were. Thanks guys, for not letting me go homeless in February. I will definitely look to you guys next time I move (and hopefully I will be able to look at a more leisurely pace!). Pros: worked quickly, were very customer-service oriented Cons: had both broker fee and no fee places, but i liked the broker fee apt.s more!
