House of Records I love promoting family owned businesses, as this is how our country was made and if we don’t continue to support people like this, it will also be how our country will fall. So, House of Records, a small record and cd shop on the West Side of LA is a great place for finding all the old music, new music and hard to find music you’ve been searching for without having to feel stupid for liking something that’s not “in”. The guy that runs the shop (most days) is the sweetest and is willing to keep an eye out for ya and they give very fair prices on your exchanges. I also go there for many of the record labels newest releases because they sell them for a price you’d pay at a corporation like Best Buy or Target ($9.99), but I feel good knowing I’m helping a small business survive. Definitely check them out.
