Review content:
I have gone to this location multiple times for alignments, oil changes, tires, etc. So not only am I a repeat customer, but I have also given them good word of mouth many times. That my friends, was a huge mistake. I took my vehicle in for them to check on an issue I was having with an ESC light coming on in my 2007 Kia Sorento. I have a warranty and was told to take it in there and they would perform the diagnostic. I realized if the part wasn't a warrantied part I would have to pay for the diagnostic, but having paid this location for a diagnostic before and only having paid $30, I wasn't too concerned. Well imagine my surprse when they called me to tell me that the part was not a warranty part but also I owed them $100 for the diagnostic (that my dealer down the street would have charged me $50 for). I pressed for an explanation as to why it was so expensive and I was given some cockamamie story about how it was a comprehensive analysis blah blah. Well, I agreed to pay them for the diagnostic but refused to give them the privilege of my business. I called the dealer to inquire about the repair and lo and behold I was told that the repair was a recall and would be done for free. Not information Firestone gave me when they were trying to squeeze the $130 out of me for the very same repair. I implore everyone to check with their dealer when needing a diagnostic or just going to any other shop where you feel confident they are reputable. Firestone in Chandler however, is not that place. Trust me and my wasted $100 on that.
