Review content:
Very good service - on time, even early, which was appreciated. Workers were extremely nice and polite. 95 of the household goods they picked up were to be recycled/donated. I explained this to Alex on the phone. However, I watched them go through all of my boxes, dispose of some items in a trash can,and throw the remainder on the truck. I was sick to my stomach that they were going to trash perfectly good furniture and household items.
RESPONSE FROM Junkman Enterprises Inc:
Thanks for taking the time to speak with me today, Linn. I'm happy that I was able to explain what you saw on your job. We let our 'Junkmen' (who work hard and aren't millionaires!) take home and reuse some of the stuff that they haul away. Mike and Roberto just used the trash barrel to hold the stuff that they wanted to keep and not to throw it out. Then they made a run to Goodwill with the remainder of the household goods to see what they could donate. In addition to being good for the environment and helpful to other people, there is another incentive for us to donate as much as we can. We reduce our dumping/disposal costs so it really is a win all the way around.
