Review content:
At 13 weeks pregnant I was given devastating news from my OB/GYN that my unborn child had a zero percent chance of living due to a severe neural tube defect. Because my employer/insurance didn't cover terminations. I turned to Womancare of Macomb PC. This was the biggest mistake of my life. As a labor and delivery RN, I know what should happen and this was not it!!!!!! Not only did the doctor not show up to my appt bc of a snow storm although I made it. I was forced to come back a few days later and go through the whole process again mentally. I paid more money for what they called conscious sedation. And I promise you they have me saline. I felt everything and screamed my head off. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever experienced. After the procedure I even had to put my own underwear back on myself. Where is the compassion here??? As a nurse I would never treat people this way or be a part of it. The equipment looked a hundred years old. God for bid something bad happen to anyone. Not to mention I also had a difficult time conceiving after my termination and had to seek the help of a fertility doctor. Please trust me and steer clear of this facility. They should be shut down!!!
