Review content:
I went to the Cycle Barn knowing exactly what I wanted, a Triumph. Unfortunately it's one of the few dealerships in Western Washington.
I've been to the location before without buying anything, and without getting any offer of assistance. This time I just went straight to the salesman and told him what I wanted. An obvious mistake, as I came across as an eager sale. We talked about the bike a bit, and talked about the price. Never once did he offer me a test ride. I was there for hours, and this should have been my first sign to just walk out.
The salesman pulled the classic bait and switch on me when discussing the price and loan. I won't even get into how long they wanted the loan agreement for. We haggled a bit, but I still got a terrable deal.
What I should have done was walk away. I should have driven all the way to one of the other few Triumph dealers in Western Washington, but I didn't. So the best I can do is warn the rest of the buyers out there. If you are looking at a Japanese import, go elsewhere. We have plenty of dealerships around. If you are looking at a Triumph, make the drive down south. And finally if you do go to Cycle Barn, change your mind and go somewhere else. There is a reason why every review on every site about this place is negative
Pros: Selection of bikes
Cons: Everything else
