Review content:
Howard's Piano Moving did a great job taking care of my piano. I purchased an antique player piano that was located in the north bay area and had to move it in the middle of winter during heavy rains.
Howards kept my piano covered and dry, with no damage to it. They also had to deal with getting a large upright into my home, across unpaved dirt which had turned to mud in the rain, over a redwood deck, up five steps and through the doorway!
They did it all without a scratch to my piano! They are very careful and have excellent equipment designed for the unpaved homes in the rural forest where we are located. They actually have a piano dolly with heavy-duty off-road tires!!
In talking to them, they said that my move really wasn't that difficult for them. That the tough ones were when they had to get a crane to lift a piano off a second floor balcony! Sheesh!! I was very impressed that they could handle tough moves like that.
The price was very reasonable considering the difficulty and the mileage costs at $480 in 2005.
