Review content:
I stopped by the shop on Wednesday 4/29 browsing for a nice print. I found something I liked but wasn't prepared to buy it that day, so I asked the woman there to hold the item for one day. She hesitated at first, so I felt she didn't understand my request, so I repeated myself and handed her my business card. The tailor (don't know his name-owner I guess) was standing there too, when I asked the saleswoman again to hold the fabric for me til the next day. I thanked them both and left the store.
Fast forward to 4:27pm the next afternoon, I stopped by again anticipating to pickup the entire roll of fabric I had on hold, or so I thought. A different saleswoman was there so I inquired about my hold which she knew nothing about. I asked for the tailor who confirmed that he saw me there the day before but did not know I placed an item on hold, yet he was present when I made the request and handed the other salesperson my card. I went on to describe the fabric I wanted and the saleswoman finally acknowledged that she sold it. Needless to say I was very disappointed and I expressed to them that I was not satisfied with their customer service and would not return to their store. Gail K on Cheshire Bridge has better fabric anyway.
Pros: Nice fabric
Cons: Bad service
