UNETHICAL PRACTICES!!! The WORST service I've ever received. Joe kept my car for a week and didn't fix everything (but he did charge me above the initial estimate). Even worse, he put USED parts without first calling me! This is a 42 yr old bug that has been in my family it's entire life and I made it clear to him that I want new parts. He told me he would call me if he couldn't find new parts or if he had to purchase anything that would drive the price up, BUT HE DIDN'T! \r
My friend is a local mechanic (but he doesn't work on bugs) and after I showed him the ""work"" Joe did, he said that he's heard other horror stories about Joe's Buggy Haus. If you love your bug, do NOT take it to Joe's. Highly unethical practices there.
