Review content:
This doc, Sarah McMillan, behaved in an immature and rude way. I was about to have a double mastectomy (due to breast cancer) and went in a second time to meet with her (as I had a few more questions about the reconstruction - who wouldn't right before a mastectomy) and to look at photos. The doc acted like I shouldn't have had to have a second appointment to discuss the matter again. It felt like 'so what are you doing back here?' She made me feel stupid for even being there. The assistant, while showing me photos, said, about one of the photos,""This girl wasn't happy...you'd think she would be happy...she had nothing before."" I thought that was very rude and inconsiderate and uncompassionate. The photos of reconstructed patients left a lot to be desired. I left their office crying and had to find another reconstruction doc as my mastectomy was scheduled for the next week. McMillan billed $525 for a one hour visit (my first visit) and then billed again for the second visit, when they both ran me off. My insurance paid for the first bill and a portion of the second bill. I did not think it fair to have been billed for this horrible visit. I called about six times asking about the second bill and they said they would get back to me but they never called back (talk about immature). I recommend you go somewhere else.
