I have been visiting Chutneys for almost 2 years since we moved from Texas. The food is hands down the best in PDX. My favorite is Mumtaz Biryani. It is made very authentic with all the Hyderabadi spices and fresh herbs. Yes they do use fresh mint (not basil) in all biryanis. I also love their dosas and garlic naan.
I attended their cooking class several months ago and suggest it for those that want to learn about indian cusine.
It is great value for what you get, plus you know what goes into your favorite dishes.
