I got a Living Social Deal for 4 rooms worth of carpet cleaning from this merchant and scheduled the work for last Thursday between 7:30 and 9:30 am. At 9:30am that day I called their 800 number to ask why no one had arrived or called. It's a message center and the only number they offer. About 30 minutes later I received a call back letting me know that one of their staff had to take his daughter to the doctor and that no other staff could come that day. I was frustrated because I had cancelled all my appointments for the day which meant lost income, had waited 2 plus hours already without word, and had moved all my furniture in those 4 rooms so that the floors were accessible. With a minimum of 2 hours needed for the carpets to dry, the first day I could reschedule was today. The staff member I talked to did offer to come on Fri, Sat or Sunday, but I could only offer them that degree of access to my home without interruption today. So we rescheduled for 11am today. At 11:45, 12:15, 1:00, 1:30 and at 2:00 I called and left word, never getting a callback at all. I finally called Living Social and told them I wanted to cancel the deal and get my money back. And they did. My furniture is still pulled out of these 4 rooms and I've lost another day of productivity. I told their message center I didn't want a call back. I'm done. To me, professionalism requires good communication. I didn't get it. I hope you get better.
