Review content:
Holly's has a great dark/modern atmosphere that makes it feel a little upscale. The food does that too, but the prices are very reasonable ($7-13 per plate). They also have combo specials if you want a little of everything but are on a budget.\r
\r
You have a choice of steamed white or brown rice, and the food is always fresh and house-made. The dishes are not overly greasy, and the veggies are always fresh and still a little crisp. \r
\r
The service is also very good, even when they are packed.\r
\r
If I could change one thing, it would be the spice factor. The dishes with the little pepper on the menu were not that spicy, and even the hot chili oil lacked a kick. \r
\r
I am from NY, and when I have out of town guests, I take them to Holly's to avoid the gristle and to take in the atmosphere.
Pros: Fresh, al dente veggies, homemade dumplings and wontons
Cons: Not Spicy Enough!
