I used to frequently visit this establishment with my children. Tonight will be the last time I ever do again. \r On Easter, their website showed that they were open. So, I drove with 17 kids and family members 34 miles one way in hopes of a family event that all could enjoy. I had tried to call 4 times that day and checked the website to ensure that we would NOT be wasting time, money, energy, or gas. Upon arriving we found out that they were closed by a paper sign taped to the door. We were all extremely dissapointed.\r \r We then tried to get as many together as possible today and were only able to get 7. In the 20+ states that I have rollerskated in; I have NEVER been turned away for my skates or my childrens. Today we were turned away for 4 pair of blades cause they have metal. I'm sorry but, I have yet to find a pair of any skates that don't have metal. If they are going by that policy then they are going against it. Every single pair of their own skates has metal bolts holding the wheels on. With the way that the bolts are so close to the axle there is little to no chance of them ruining the floor. We then noticed that there wasn't a snigle pair of blades on floor. If they don't want blades then maybe they should make that clear before people drive any distance and waste their time and money. Today was the first time in my life that I have ever used facility skates. I am not happy with the quality of their skates and had to go back several times before Icould skate an entire song comfortably. Every single one of us had blisters by the end of the night which has never occured in our own personal skates.\r \r I have never been so dissapointed in a skating rink before. From now on I will drive the extra miles and pay higher entrance fees to go to a different rink to ensure that my family has a good time and aren't so dissapointed. The amount I paid was no where near worth the event we attended. I will also make sure to tell as many people as I can how unhappy I am with the establishment.\r
