I came to see Vivian after my third surgery on my knee. Rather than just working on getting me back into the condition I was in before my surgery, Vivian focused on finding the imbalances and weaknesses in my body that first caused the injury. With previous physical therapists I had learned the importance of strengthening the muscles in my leg in order support the knee, but I learned from Vivian how to activate and incorporate those muscles into every day movements. Since working with Vivian I have completely changed the way I run and even walk and I have discovered a new strength and stability in my body that was lacking before coming to see Vivian.
