So I decided I needed to update my little cottage of a house. I did a search (on Citysearch) for a contractor in my neck of the woods - the place you need a passport to get into - The Valley.
I interviewed a few people, but, you know when you hear ""go with your gut?"" Well, that's what I did. From my first emails and phone calls with Alan's office, I felt I would be given individualized treatment. I'm really into customer service these days since it seems like there isn't any anymore.
So, I scheduled an estimate - got a good price and went with my gut.
I now have a new bathroom (everything torn out and new) and a bigger master bedroom (I was indulging my inner goddess :)
Alan and his guys walked me through everything. I picked out the stuff I wanted and, voila - updated cottage. They cleaned up after themselves and made everything pretty and new. Alan had spot on suggestions and, here's a surprise - they all spoke english!!!
