Review content:
Most Dollar stores are clinical...not this one. Housed in an old house on Hawthorne, the owners really LOVE their products!
Some of the fare is the usual dollar store stuff...kitchen stuff, cleaners...but they specialize in children's items. There's a whole room of craft and school supplies and another of joke stuff. Thinks like fake poopoo and whoopie cushions and magic tricks. There were tons of things I had no idea what to do with. The owner, with the delight of a child, was more than happy to pull things out of the package and show me...I know I spent way more than I had intended as a result of his efforts. I came home with a fake motorized mouse for my cat (and batteries sold separately, of course!), stress balls for my daughter's boyfriend (if he's dating my daughter, there's no explanation necessary!), and a tiara for my friend who's driving me nuts.
Before my next party, I'll visit here instead of the local party store for gags!
The owners welcome dogs in their store and offer all dogs complimentary bisquits and water.
