Review content:
Give this yoga a try! I had always wanted to try yoga but was nervous about going into a new studio and feeling foolish among the lean people surrounding me. I searched for a studio and found Bikram Yoga Marietta less than 2 miles from my home. I didn't know the difference between Bikram, other hot yogas, and any other type of yoga (and still don't know anything about any yoga other than Bikram), but this studio was so welcoming and the staff was warm and helpful. I initially signed up for a week; I was dead on my feet after the first 2 classes but determined to get my money's worth out of the week for which I had paid. After the third class, everything changed. I felt energy like I'd never had before--and certainly not like I'd ever had after 90 minutes of any other type of workout. I started going to class as much as possible and usually got in 5 days a week. My body changed--becoming leaner!--and my entire disposition improved. My husband was able to tell whether or not I'd been to yoga on any given day by my moods. :) After about a year, I began working a second job and had to take a break from yoga. I recently gave up the second job and immediately went back to Bikram and it's even better than I remember. I'm sleeping better and my body is getting leaner all over again. It's a great experience. Some people may consider it pricey, but it's worth a little extra! Compared to the amounts I've spent on Bally's/LA Fitness/Anytime Fitness/personal trainers throughout the years, Bikram Yoga gives me much better (and quicker) results with my body and makes me feel a lot better mentally than any other type of workout. Still skeptical? Come in to the studio and talk to Naomi, the owner. She'll answer every question and treat you like she's known you her entire life.
Pros: The best workout you'll ever get in 90 minutes
Cons: Not enough locations around the world! I'd love a studio on every corner!
