I have a 9 week old that since he was born has suffered from having colic and reflux. My pediatrician told me to stop breat feeding and to give him less gassy foods. 2 weeks later, he was still the same. In fact worse. He didn't eat much and was always crying. Desperate, I was telling my cousin the problems we were having. She told me to do research on chiropractic care helping with colic. She was right, there were several articles about the positive results. I made an appointment to see Dr. Warkentin. He examined my baby and determined that he had a bad misalignement in his cervical spine. He very gently massaged the area and Dillan was not happy. The doctor told me that I should notice a slight improvement that night. He also oddly knew that my baby more than likely always wanted to feed from one side. Again, he was right. I brought my baby back on wednesday and he was doing 50% better. By friday I had my third appointmnet. Dillan didn't cry at all and he was sleeping through the night. i have one more visit next week to follow up. I am amazed of the immediate results. I am also very greatful that I spoke with my cousin about my baby and that I found the excellent group of doctors at Verve.
