I am a registered nurse who has a set of beliefs that have been pounded into me since nursing school that I shouldn't see a chiropractor for anything. After 8 years in the field, I came to find out that several of the medical doctors that practice in the hospital say that after standing for hours in surgery that their chiropractor was the only one who kept them pain free. Well, a few days ago I woke up in pain and could not lift my arm, so one of our ER doctors gave me the name of Dr. Warkentin, the chiropractor that he has been seeing for 4 years. I went in had my x-rays and exam and it was diagnosed that I had an anteriorly subluxated shoulder. On top of that my cervical curve had diminished and had some rotation in it. He adjusted the area in question. I was amazed at how painless it was and the immediate results without medications were astounding. I have since referred several of my co-workers to his beautiful clinic.
