Mike has been my mechanic since 1996. I initially found him on cartalk.com and saw that he had glowing reviews. I had bought a Cadillac off lease and was looking to find a mechanic other than the dealership, which was killing me on repairs. Mike's Auto Service worked on the Cadillac and fixed everything that went wrong with it. I never had to go back for the same thing twice.
I am a gear head and used to do all of my own maintenance, but have some physical disabilities that prevent me from doing that now. I trust Mike and the mechanics who work at Mike's Auto Service. They are professional, straightforward, and ASE-certified. They always do what they say they will.
Over the years, they have worked on at least 5 cars for me and as many as 7. Everything has been outstanding. All of Mike's work is first-rate. Also, he will tell you if you need something done and tell you what you do not need to do. He does not waste your money, which is completely refreshing.
I have already recommended Mike to 3 neighbors and they have all "converted" to using his service now. He is devoted to what he does and to his customers.
