Review content:
It would seem to me, if you are writing a restaurant review, you should stick to the subject matter and tell of the quality of food you were served and the service you were provided with when you dined at said restaurant. I am compelled to tell my opinion of Benny's restaurant located in Kingston, NY and the original store location in Stone Ridge, NY. I have dined at both, more often in Kingston, so I will write of that restaurant in my review. I think the pizza is awesome and the portions are extremely generous. I have had quiet lunches there as well as fun dinners with a gaggle of my friends. It's a great place to celebrate with friends, or to eat a slice alone while reading the newspaper. I think the prices are fair, for the portions you are served. The meat slice are huge and I have never been there when my friends were hungry for a second slice...one is more then enough. If you're really looking for a massive portion, try ordering a calzone...they're HUGE!\r On many Friday and Saturday nights, there is a table set up with complimentary cannoli's and fried dough and hot coffee, too. I have even seen Benny send free garlic knots and wine to people waiting on their dinners. In these economic times, to have a restaurant owner be so generous when he is able, I think it 's unusually rare and really awesome.\r If I have ever had a complaint, it would have been that there was never enough parking, but that is no longer a problem as the restaurant now has additional parking on the far side of the building.\r I think it's important to support local business during these unknown economic times and if you are unhappy with your first visit, give the business a second chance...that only seems fair to me. I think to own a restaurant at a time when people are cutting back on the luxury of eatting out, it must be quite scary, so to find a place that gives you more then just the status quo for your buck, keep giving it your business. Treat yourself to Benny's and see if you like it.\r I read the last review and I just feel that this space should be respected as a place to review the food you receive at a restaurant and the service you are given. If they offer a meeting place to gather to purge bad job experiences or terrible bosses, let me know...Heaven knows we all have our side of a story to share about a job gone wrong. Hey, I'll even do one better, I'll not only show up, but I'll bring the pizza.\r Benny's is a nice place to grab a slice, order a nice dinner or even try sushi....they seem to have alot to offer. On most days, you'll catch Benny there....and that's kind of a nice touch, too.\r If you're in Kingston, stop in and try a slice...the BBQ Chicken and the Buffalo Chicken slices are delicious! And don't forget the Stone Ridge restaurant, I'm definatley a fan of both spots.\r \r \r \r Pros: Generous portions and good food
