Review content:
For an upscale hotel bar, we were treated very poorly. The security guard presence was so overwhelming that it ruined my experience of the bar. He made ten rounds through the bar/lobby within 30 minutes and followed us as we looked for seating, then chased us out of the adjacent (and empty) hotel lounge because we weren't hotel guests. By 1:25am, he was asking everyone three times to leave the bar. I have never been treated this way at any upscale hotel bar in San Francisco, where they respect their customers and truly understand the meaning of classy. Pros: courtyard space Cons: security guard, not enough seating, too pricey
