Review content:
I've been going to Reno for the last 13 years and I allmost allways stay at the Sands. The Sands has always been the best value around with big rooms costing about $40 less than some of the bigger hotels. All the employees there are friendly and I've never had too long a wait at check in. They have a pretty good comp system that makes it pretty easy to get at least a free meal during your stay. The cocktail service is pretty good and they even have a tequila bar where you can get a real top shelf margarita for only $3.00. The only drawback to the Sands is it's right next to the train tracks. The Sands is also a few blocks off of the main strip but its only a short walk and the streets seem to be pretty safe even at night. Pros: Large rooms, good value, tequila bar Cons: off the strip, near train tracks
