I have been to the marksman many times, but only purchased one gun from them. Most of the time I am there to buy accessories(toys) for my guns or use of their gunsmith. The store is for the most part well stocked and their prices are not excessive.\r

If go to Marksman Gun Shop on a friday or saturday afternoon they are usually pretty busy so be ready to wait a bit. I dont find this unreasonable since if you go to cabelas on a weekday at say... 11am youll wait an hour before they call your number and thats if there are only a few people ahead of you. \r
The staff at the marksman are fairly short with you as far as questions(when they are busy) but this is understandable. They are in the business of selling guns not BSing. If your just there to look around, be polite enough to tell them that when they address you. They will let you look around and check back with you when they are done with customers who are actually there to buy something and know what they want.\r
I personally go to a few gun shops when I buy weapons or parts. Partially because no gunshop can carry EVERY gun, but also because I am such a cheapskate I like to shop around. \r
