Review content:
Dr. Furniss, by herself, seems to be a good doctor. She is thorough in her discussion of any issues, she is good at listening as well. She will tell you what she thinks and takes into account how you think/feel/believe. If you have a surgical procedure she is kind and supportive and tries to reassure you. With that said, I have waited up to four hours in the Women's Clinic before. I honestly think they forgot me. The nurses are cold and the waits are forever. If you call you need to stress IMMEDIATELY that you need an answer pronto or you will always be transferred to the nurse. The nurse, naturally is not sitting at her desk, she is busy. Downside, it can take days to get a response. The lab ladies are great, friendly, and all but one of them has been able to hit my tiny veins easily but the delivery of results are dependent on the nurse, which means you have to wait, if it is urgent I hear back by about 6 pm the day I get the bloodwork, if not it has taken up to a week. There has been times where the nurse would ask someone else to call me or call in a perscription and it wasn't done. Doctor Furniss has many, many patients but she needs more than one nurse to help her with her load.
