ABC Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric has been solving problems in our home for many years, and yesterday was no different. Plumber Jason S. arrived around 1:30 in the afternoon to assess a malfunctioning water heater. When I requested a new water heater be installed the same day, he arranged for all the new equipment to be delivered to our home and got right to work. After several hours of work, including a trip to Home Depot for a missing part, he finished the job only to find that the new water heater was defective and was leaking. I'm not sure which of one us was more dismayed! Although it was after hours and his warehouse was closed, he tracked down a colleague with a right water heater on his truck and arranged to have it brought from Hoffman Estates to my home in Vernon Hills where he completed the installation around 10 pm. Throughout the 8+ hours in my home, he was unfailingly courteous and professional, and I appreciated his willingness to resolve the problem immediately despite having to stay on the job long after he would have expected to call it a day. I have always found ABC's particular strength to be its knowledgeable, service-minded people and Jason S. is a great example.
