Review content:
just moved from DC and I'm a BJJ purple belt and amateur MMA fighter.
I went to Wai Kru to train and roll with new people. I was really impressed with their Jiu Jitsu team. Their coach is Carlos Neto who is a black belt from the Brazil. Neto is a no-gi specialist but he has developed a nasty Gi game as well. I took both their Gi and No Gi classes (back to back) He has fantastic wrestling and his style is perfectly suited for MMA. I learned a lot.
The class was great, tough warm up but really good stuff. The other students are of mixed experience with some blue-purple belts and some white belts--some strict BJJ guys and some MMA fighters. As I was leaving another Blackbelt and pro MMA fighter was coming in to work out as well, to have so many talented guys is fantastic.
Pros: BTT Blackbelt, tons of great pictures on walls, friendly, $$
