Review content:
I used to really enjoy Horus Cafe. Nice ambiance, good food, and the best hookah's I've found in Manhattan. Something, however, has gone really really wrong there. The service, which at best was a little slow and disinterested has declined to outright indifference and rudeness. None of the friendly staff I've dealt with in the past (who were at least friendly when they finally got to you to take your order) seem to be there anymore. I'm not the type of individual who demands instant service either, I'm perfectly happy to sit and talk with friends, but Horus has taken slow to new levels. The other huge problem, its Loud. Capital L. Now, I understand the loud music when they have the live belly dancer, then the focus of everyone is on her, but the rest of the time the music is loud enough that you can barely hear people next to you let alone across the table. This is a hookah bar, not a dance club, tone the music down a bit...\r The eccentricities of the place which were previously tolerable for the food and hookahs have become too numerous. I will not be visiting Horus anymore and will search for a new hookah bar in the area.\r \r Give this place a miss Pros: Good hookahs, good food Cons: Awful service, way to loud, they will aggressively rush you out the door if people are waiting
