Really cares about your pets. Does everything he can, but also does not try and gouge you. \r

I was originally refered to him by the emergency vet clinic (who does not normally give referals but my cat had urinary tract problems so she told me where she takes her pets).\r

I've taken 3 cats and 3 dogs to him. He helped me decide on a dog breed and hooked me up with a rescue shelter after my 8 year old son's cat died from urinary/kidney failure (my son was REALLY upset about the loss of his cat, but thanks to Dr. Schmitt, the cat lived a year longer than it should have). Personally, I wouldn't have choosen a small poodle, but he's turned out to be a great dog.\r

Excellent caring vet. Really knows his stuff too. Texas A&M graduate. I recently had to see his associate, Dr. Heimlich, on a Saturday when the groomers took a chunk out of my poodle. Same great service from him as I get from Dr. Schmitt.
Pros: Excellent caring staff
Cons: none that I've found
