Review content:
My wife and I had never been to the Ale House before so we decided to give it a try. \r
\r
They have about 30 beers on tap, including my favorite, Newcastle Brown Ale, and a nice collection of mixed and tropical drinks.\r
\r
The menu offers a a good variety of foods to choose from, including soups, salads, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers, along with some nice deserts. \r
\r
Another thing I really appreciated was that there were no TVs or music blaring to prevent my wife and I from enjoying our conversation over dinner.\r
\r
The service was excellent and our waitress, Renee (sp??), was attentive and more than happy to tell us about the history and locations of the Miller Ale Houses. It was so nice to have someone waiting on the table that actually enjoyed speaking with and helping people and that was also so very positive and upbeat about the resturant that employed her.\r
\r
I highly recommend this place! It is a sort of like a sports or beach bar but with a nice touch of class.\r
Pros: The Conch Chowder and Chicken Nachos are UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Cons: The unpadded bench seats can be uncomfortable after a while.
