I would not recommend Buckeye Dermatology. Even though Dr. Shen and Dr. Hessel are very very good. In short, this was my first ever visit to a dermatologis. I had a biopsy that got infected, the biopsy came bck abnormal and needed further excision. On the day to excise the biopsy I was informed that the infection was actually MRSA (office had info for 5 days prior). I was scared already about having the procedure done and when I asked the Dr. he took a few seconds of his time to assure me the MRSA was not a problem and I would be put on Bactrum. In short, I ended up in the ER 2 days later and have had a summer full of pain and $3,000 in bills. I requested the office reimburse me what I had paid out of pocket to the them to offset the ER/Dressings/Scrip etc bills as these would not have occurred if my ""TRUSATED"" Dr. had said let's treat for 2 weeks then cut. Because if the Dr. had not assured me the MRSA would not be an issue to the excision I WOULD HAVE NEVER GONE AHEAD. The reimbursement would have been minimal to the other expenses I have encurred because of this and would have restored faith that someone in that office cared about the patient and what happened after I left. But I was told NO it is on my insurance and I am basically out of luck all because I trusted the Dr. and signed the consent on his assurance. I will pay the bills I owe to the professionals who DID help me with the problem the exicision called and will be ever sorry that I was a good patient and paid Buckeye Dermatology in full each visit. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
