Review content:
I have been a faithful patient at WPC for about 5 years and saw Nancy Murpyh regularly whom I adored. After Nance left I had to see Dr. Hoyte for my yearly exam and it was absoultely horrendous. Despite the fact that my best friend still loves Dr. Hoyte and swears by the practice I felt like she had a horrible bedside manner. The entire yearly appointment took about 20 minutes and I really wanted and inquired about asking her opinion about trrying a new birth control for PMDD. She asked ME what I thought and if i wanted to go on it-when my question to her was what SHE thought (as the doctor), she then recommended that I take an SSRI such as Prozac for the symptoms, I inquired with her that with the other meds I am taking wouldn't Prozac interfere? Oh yes she said, she hadn't even LOOKED at my chart to see what else I was taking before she began writing the script for Prozac!! I felt rushed, dissatisfied and completely dismayed by this experience. I even let her know that I had been seeing Nance for 5 years prior and was looking forward to working with her-to which she grunted and did not respond....Perhaps I caught her on a bad day but the reason I came to WPC for 5 years was simply because I felt like my needs were valued and I received wonderful care under Nance and the other staff. After this experience I am trying desperately to find another primary care office-does anyone have any recommendations? I do NOT recommend WPC unless something has changed dramatically over the past 6 months.
Cons: Rushed staff, rude front desk staff, no concern for patients
