Review content:
I went to Power Road Animal Hospital (for years) because it was conveniently located to my home. I wish I had taken the effort to find a better place.
I loved the doctor who took care of our dog and so we continued to come back there. However, when she died, at their suggestion (which was wonderful) I had a paw print cast made of her... THEY LOST IT.
I then adopted a stray kitten from their office (who is wonderful), but when I found a stray kitten and asked them to take it in... THEY REFUSED IT.
Because my husband made a career move to California, we needed to get a few shots for the plane ride. At the urging they convinced me if I didn't do complete and extensive work on the two cats, I would likely be refused to board the plane. They even went so far as to tell me a story of a woman who had to turn around from the airport, come back to them for a multitude of shots and vaccinations. I was terrified and paid $500 for this complete network of shots and vaccinations. The airline never (even now) asked for proof of these shots/vaccinations). THEY INDUCE FEAR.
We have now moved to Wisconsin and are at a new clinic here. I have called twice to have them fax over my pets' records to the new animals hospital; they assured me they would. THEY NEVER DID.
Unless you like to pay exorbitant rates (and trust me, I've been around the states enough to know they are the highest), lack of decent customer service (unless you are right in their face with a credit card), don't expect much. Well, expect to be ""SCARED"" into paying for a lot of services you will never need.
