Businiess name:  Roby Institute

Review content:
I want to recommend the Roby Institute to anyone who is extremely allergic/hypersensitive and who has tried standard HRT and allergy shots, only to get worse as a result. I have spent the past 22 years going from specialist to specialist, getting sicker and sicker with each new onslaught of the medical theory/drug du jour. I usually felt better initially, but the medications always ended up eventually backlashing into numerous side effects. Allergy shots always made me feel worse. Doctors used the word ""idiopathic"" with me a lot, which just means they didn't really know what the cause of my problem was.\r \r My problem is basically what most of my family has--severe allergies. The shots were too strong and the hormones were, too. Since the Roby Institute uses homeopathic dilutions, I was able to respond, albeit verrrry slowly, to Dr. Roby's protocol. After six months, I am to the point where I can sleep, eat, and breathe better. The sublingual drops are great because I don't have to make time to go see an allergist for a shot every week, and the idea that you can be allergic to your own hormones makes sense--I have noticed a huge difference in my skin, mood, and general functioning as a result of the estrogen/progesterone drops. \r \r I also like the fact that the Roby Institute is open on most Saturdays until 2:00; that you can call Dr. Roby on his cell or at home; that his staff is unfailingly helpful, patient, and accommodating. The Roby Institute's total lifestyle approach -- diet & exercise modulation--was a path I was already halfway down, so the exercise protocol dovetailed neatly with the diet changes I had already made. The Institute's office has worked with me to make sure that I can take full advantage of my insurance coverage. The $1,000 initial out-of-pocket for the hormone therapy was well worth it, and I'm a government employee, which means I'm not exactly rolling in the dough! \r \r I just wish that I had found the Roby Institute sooner! Pros: Saturday hours, offices in several cities, great support staff
