What a find! From the outside, driving down San Ramon Valley Road you would never guess what is inside of this nondescript building. It's in a small commercial strip amongst auto body shops and sports equipment retailers. As noted in Diablo magazine, who would guess that such a fine establishment would be across the street from 680 and a KFC ;-)\r

We dropped in for dinner on a Friday evening after work on recommendation from a colleague. We expected good food on the recommendation but were surprised to also find a wonder ambiance. The two owners are Italian and run around serving guests with their heavy accents. All 20 tables were filled, so we accepted our 45 minute wait with a glass of red wine and people watching. Once seated, we were treated to a warm pollenta starter, homemade gnocci and veal w/ prosciutto and parmesan. The food and wine were delicious.\r

Prices are more reasonable than I would have expected... under $20 for every meal. The wine was pricey, but certainly not outrageous.
