**Do not purchase appliances from Appliance Factory Outlet!! **\r
\r
I just bought a new KitchenAid refrigerator for $2,649.00. It was defective upon delivery - the ice/water does not work. After waiting for 1 week for a repair appointment, then another week for the ""magical part"" to be delivered and installed...ice and water still do not work. Appliance Factory Outlet does not care and continues to tell me this is between me and the manufacturer. 2 days after it was delivered I demanded a replacement or a refund...no dice. The manager is some young kid who hangs up on customers when they are upset (not out of line, no foul language, etc.). I feel like my hands are tied. KitchenAid is no help either - they will ""attempt another repair"". Well the next repair makes three and then we will have to fight them with the lemon law provisions. In total I have wasted 12 hours on the phone with AFW and KitchenAid as well as the repair company. I have missed a total of 4 hours of work and have had to pay for ice/water this whole time (trust me...you never know how much you really use until you have to buy it). In short...go to a reputable appliance dealer who cares about the satisfaction of their customers and will go to bat with the manufacturer when a defective product is delivered.
