These guys (Buchers) are way ahead of the curve. They are on the cutting edge of this energy conservation stuff. I used to inspect homes for an energy auditing firm and I always learned a thing or two on Bucher's jobs. They have their employees trained and they know what they are doing. One of the most interesting/impressive/distinct traits is also they are willing to learn. If I ever had a suggestion for them on improving their homes over the years they were open ears as opposed to most builders who tried to explain to me why I was wrong and should just do my job and move on. Unfortunatley due to life circumstances I am not in the market for a new home, however one of my good friends recently built with the Buchers and he was very satisfied. I was a little worried when the Buchers were building for him, because to be honest he can be very difficult and unreasonable. However they somehow managed to surpass his expectations and both he and his wife are very happy with the quality of product and service they have received. They and I would strongly recommend the Buchers. The best part is you know if there is ever an issue they will be here just as they have for the past 30 something years.
