DO NOT EAT AT Wendys in AMES IA! On January 21st in Iowa around 8PM a truck pulled into their lot. We were having extremely cold weather. The staff at this restaurant watched the trucks emergency flashers for 4 HOURS before the battery died. The next day, Tuesday morning at around 8am--a good 12 hrs later, this young man was found in his truck, by his fiance, with black frost bit feet and unconscious. They were very negligent in not checking out this suspicious vehicle and by not calling the police. THis young individual was nearly frozen to death when found. And is still facing possible amputation of his feet.\r
I do not recommend any Wendys. There are 3 Wendys in Ames, and this was the West Lincolnway Ames.
