Businiess name:  Field's Fairways Golf Course

Review content:
This is a no-frills, par 3, nine hole course. Scenery is nice, and there is grass on the fairways. A few mosquitos, but where aren't there mosquitos in Fort Bend County?! Some of the greens are a bit worn, but the owner plans to throw a few bucks into sprucing them up. The price is right, and the beer is cold! My kind of place, as I can't afford to regularly play the "premium" golf couses in this area. Very friendly folks run this operation. Driving out here is a lot like driving out to your crazy lovable brother-in-law's place. The day we were there, a bunch of locals were hanging in the clubhouse enjoying some brewski's. They called out to us to drive 'em straight (they must have seen me play before). Everybody is welcome. You don't need a country club membership to play, and everybody sure is neighborly. Highly recommended. Loads of fun for budget and beginner golfers. Pros: Friendly, laid-back atmosphere Cons: Off the beaten path, ambience is honky-tonk-ish.
