I recently moved to LA from NY, where I left behind a fabulous hairdresser who I had been going to for over 7 years! I was considering just waiting until I went back to NY until my next cut...until I came across Capella Salon on Citysearch and the excellent reviews on Shai. After reading about how his loyal client's travel from afar to keep going back to him, I was reminded of how I would have done the same for my stylist. I decided to go for it, and I can easily say it was the BEST move ever! Besides being so friendly, Shai is a great listener and wants and asks to hear what you want with your hair. After he gets your input, he uses his own talent and artistry to design a beautiful cut. He loves doing hair, he loves his salon and his clients, and it shows...he's even using his profits to completely redesign the salon instead of getting the car he wanted!
Pros: Friendly, inviting atmosphere, parking, service, price
Cons: Needs more lighting
