Review content:
I came down with a terrible toothache and couldn't get in to my dentist for 2 weeks. I decided I couldn't live that long with the pain and so made a next morning apt at the emergency dentist on halsey st. After the xrays and the exam including poking and scraping at the sore tooth, I let the dentist know that I do have some anxiety issues about shots and requested nitrous (which they advertise on there website as providing) before they began the numbing procedure. He left the room for a really long time. He came back and told me that he didn't feel comfortable with an anxious patient and handed me a referal to an Oral Surgeon to do the root canal, saying I would probably need IV sedation. I assured him I would not move about or jerk around, it was all internal nerves, yet he would not do the procedure. So now I am stuck with the pain until I can get in to my regular dentist. This young dentist was unprofessional, insecure and a waste of time, not to mention a charge to my insurance for x-rays and ""dental exam"". Don't waste your time with these people.
