I have been to Stevie's on two occasions now. The most recent was 5/16 for my bday. I read several of the reviews before deciding to return to Stevie's to celebrate. The reviews I read made me think twice but I decided to go anyway because I really liked the food and entertainment the first time I went. I just have to say that all of the negative reviews are so far from what I experienced on both occassions. I had a reservation for 14 people. When I arrived my table was ready and they were prepared to seat us. Our waitress was so friendly and provided excellent service in a timely manner. No, your food is not rushed out to you but when you go prepared to have a good time, you enjoy the atmosphere and it doesn't matter. You should go prepared to hang out and have a good time, listen to music, laugh and talk. It is not an in and out type of place. The food is so good and worth every penny. The portions are very generous. Stevie was there and he introduced himself to my party. He was very friendly and talked to several customers personally asking them if they were having a good time. The music was very good. I think that most of the people who complain really don't have the money to spend and probably can't afford a classy place like Stevie's. When they get there and see that there is no $5.99 special on the menu they automatically get an attitude about everything. I say this because everyone who posted a negative comment always complained about the prices. The prices are no more expensive than Harold & Belle's. As far as the $7.00 cover charge, if you went to a restaurant first and then to a club then you would spend that amount anyway, it probably just seems like so much because you are paying for everything all at once. I love Stevie's and will continue to patronize this restaurant because of the great food, awesome service and excellent entertainment.
