Review content:
avoid at all costs... Aveda has been trying to draw in ethnic business and even had a casting call for african americans and people in general with ethnic hair..\r \r I called and spoke with christina at the salon and she assured me that they would have no problem ""doing"" my daughters hair.\r \r Long story short they burned and damaged my daughters natural hair and when we stopped them midway and began to complain...they proceeded to tell us that ther person who does that type of hair called out..\r \r First of all, hair is hair..when I walk into a salon in upper manhattan owned and operated by a dominican woman..she whips and flips both of our textures with the same rollerset process...hair is hair... I wanted to give my daughter a new and upscale experience...one where we dont have to sit in the salon for 10 hours..not worth it.\r \r furthermore why would you even attempt to do her hair if you were not comfortable..that is just unprofessional and morally wrong..\r \r they maybe able to do straight hair/wavy hair but the fact that they chose to decieve us and especially a 13 year old girl who is trying to find her natural beauty and not try to conform to societies idea of beauty, is detestable... stay away if not for your hair sake but for the sake of principle
