I bought a Jeep Commander and was treated well during the purchase. However, when I decided to cancel my extended warranty I was bullied by the Finance Manager. I came in and was told what a horrible mistake I was making and he bad mouthed my insurance agent for recommending a better warranty than they had sold me. He said it was unethical. He convinced me to go back and do my homework before I canceled. He told me that I got the low interest rate that I did because of the warranty. That is not true. I did my homework and found out that he told me several other lies as well. I called him back at least five times only be told he was with a customer and would call me back. He never did. I had to personally come in AGAIN and since it was his day off, I had his associate sign the request for cancellation so that I would have proof that it would be canceled (I knew he would say he never got it otherwise). I called and called to make sure it got canceled and money refunded with no return call. After the 60 days was up, I went in again only to find that it STILL was not canceled. He tried to tell me the 60 days were up and it was too late to cancel it. Fortunately I had my copy of my request to cancel form that was signed by an employee of the dealership.\r He was visibly upset and said ""he was sorry that he got me such a good interest rate"" I told him that ""it was not right for him to say that. He should always be glad to give his customers the best "". He tried to charge me $50 and when I said ""I don't think that is what the policy says"" then he said $25 to cancel my warranty. I had to go find my copy of the warranty to show him that the cancelation policy said there would be no fee. He was rude and argumentative. I am very disapointed in the way I was treated by the Finance Manager.
