Review content:
I foster dogs with Much Love and I have to say that for a volunteer based non profit group they are EXTREMELY organized. When I first decided to become a foster I had to fill out an application, which felt like it was a novel. Once that was done they had to send someone over to do a house check. They just want to make sure that your house is adequate enough for a dog. I live in a townhouse with no yard so having a large size dog will not work in my environment. I like that they even home check their fosters. With my first foster I got a dog that was pulled from the an animal shelter the previous day. They keep all of their dogs in a 10 day quarantine so that they don't get any other dogs ill. Once that is done the dog can be taken to one of the mobile pet adoptions. Saturday, is on Abbot Kinney and Venice and Sunday, is on Main St. in Santa Monica by the Farmers Market. You leave them there for the day and then pick them up at the end. My first dog got adopted by the 2nd pet adoption and my second one got adopted within 5 min of her first pet adoption. I now have my 3rd foster and it is so addicting. I love that I have the opportunity to be able to save a dogs life and to give it a second chance to live a long and happy one. The best part about Much Love for me is that they are extremely organized and I believe that is why they get adopted so quickly. I am now on my third foster dog and each time it just gets easier. Please check out their site.
