My co-worker/friend/annoyance went to an event at STK last night and we decided since we are both bored to death at work and counting the minutes till we go home, we thought we would write a review about our time last night. I heard good things about Speed LA and thought this could be a great way for us to get out and meet some good looking chaps. I had also heard of STK where the event took place but could never afford to go there so I jumped at the chance to meet some cute boys AND give my tastebuds a treat. We were told to arrive before the event for a complimentary make-over which was a lot of fun. The artist was very sweet and quite talented. I'd like to think I gave her a little something to work with. From there we checked in with the hosts. They gave us the deets and we were off. We got to sit together which was fun. We met 14 guys. I've seen speed dating in the movies but it was nothing like this. It wasn't awkward, it wasn't weird, it wasn't anything but just a cool, relaxed way to get out on the town. I ended up choosing 4 guys that I wanted to see again. I don't know yet if I got matches. They say they'll e-mail them to us within 24 hours so we still have some time to go before we find out. Anyway we both had a really good time and would totally do it again.
