It's kismet! Both my friend and I are die-hard bloomspot fans. I look forward to seeing their e-mails letting me know of things that I shouldn't pass up. So when this company came through our e-mail, I knew we had to try it. Bloomspot touted both their events and matchmaking services so my friend and I thought we would try both. We just got out of very long relationships nearly at the same time so this was perfect. We picked our event and were off. We had a girls day out preening for the event to be sure to look and feel our best. We had a load of fun. We felt great, looked great and had a great time. We were super excited to then try out the matchmaking portion of our purchase. We thought it would be a blast to have our 'blind dates' together so we called and were told it was no problem. It took a bit of time to coordinate our schedules as my friend is a RN so her schedule can challenging. My friend and I both spoke extensively to the owner about what we were looking for in a man and what we had to offer the lucky gents. :-x \r

Our matchmaking night arrived. My friend and I decided best to choose a casual spot for wine and appetizers - the company suggested a restaurant they work with called Sonoma on the roof of The Santa Monica Place mall. It was perfect. We arrived early for our blind dates so we sauntered around the mall only to find ourselves late returning to the restaurant. To our surprise two cute men were waiting for us. We played it cool and didn't let them know we were actually early. We sat outside and stayed for nearly 3 hours exhausting each other with conversation. It seemed all four of us had known each other before -- my friend had actually gone to the same college as her date so they had plenty to talk about. While I thought my date was an absolute gentleman and easy on the eyes - I'm not sure we are meant for each other as anything more than friends but I am glad we met. My friend on the other hand is still dating her blind date so fingers crossed. \r

Thank you matchmaking and thank you bloomspot!
