Review content:
I've been to a few speed dating events in the past. I would say the format is usually the same. But with SpeedNY Dating it's a bit more relaxed. I don't get that nervous and the added bonus (for the ladies) is that we get a little dolled up beforehand. The hosts are always so nice and chatty, they really try to make everyone feel good. The first time I went to an event it was a bit unorganized due to crazy weather in London but it worked out. I went with a friend of mine and we had great conversations. I didn't really find anyone I clicked with but it's about getting out there and just having a good time. The second time I went to a smaller event and it was a little better, in that we had more time to talk to everyone. There was a break where they had some snacks and people could mingle. Again the hosts were great, they had hosts for both sexes which is nice! I look forward to going again in a couple months as some of my friends want to give it a try. I wouldn't say it's the best way to meet Mr./Ms. Right but it helps in seeing who is out there and having a good time. For my second time attending an event, there were a few snafus but they were quick to inform me of the changes and really great about apologizing for the inconvenience. It all worked out in the end.
